lo, back in the day they had to rent out an auditorium to have these matches, now they have their own special sc stadiums. Its intense how the popularity of sc has risen in korean in just a matter of 8 years.

I’d disagree. Its all based on the maps. If this map came back, they might use more optimized builds than in the early 2000’s when it was originally in circulation, but they would obviously base their play on the same low econ micro/harass idea.

on a different note, this old series was a pleasure to watch. it’s amazing how much the game has progressed since i played a lot 9 or 10 years ago. it’s still always fun to watch (except that now, it’s much more based on pure mechanics and macro T_T)

older maps were more micro intensive. all newer maps have a very (mostly) accessible natural.
i don’t play too much, because i don’t have time, but i do analyze the games often. what you’re saying is, “man, i wish it was the 1600s, cause i’d totally have beaten newton to calculus!” get a grip. someone had to make it. it takes that type of genius. try inventing calculus on your own. lots of people know it now, but you can’t just say cause you know it, you could invent it.

i haven’t said shit about your level in bw. all i said was i’ve been playing since 2000 and that i know the game very well (c+/b- iccup several times).
yeah, this is now and the past is the past. it’s amazing how the game have developed so that a C ranked iccup player would beat the world 2000 elite players with great margins. a thought experiment. i am not a better player than boxer. sorry if i have offended your national sport. now give it a rest please hhhl0183
